Ethical, Independent and  Expert.

Direct Cremation £1700 (with medical fees)   We have been involved with this kind of cremation for many years and it is becoming increasingly more popular. My price assumes that the deceased person does not exceed 100kg and has died within North Tyneside. A modest increase on my fees will be required should either of these criteria not be met. Payment in full is expected at time of arrangement. In its simplest form you may choose not to have the ashes returned and we arrange for them to be scattered at the crematorium. There are many reasons beyond cost (please think David Bowie) why this option will be preferred. Some people simply do not wish to have a service due to their beliefs or wish to choose a direct cremation then subsequently arrange their own personal service. Then they are free to choose details of a final resting place without the constraints of time, where they have something stable and easily transportable to deal with. Ashes are stable - they can be retained with you until you are ready. There are many things that you can do with your ashes: Bury, scatter or strew where permitted Plant under a memorial tree Hire a hot air balloon for scattering Have memorial glassware commissioned (Ashes to Glass are amazing) Have a diamond made Scatter at sea (you can make a donation to a lifeboat too!) A final party with the ashes incorporated into fireworks Take abroad. For direct cremation clients we supply a complete range of ashes caskets without hefty add-ons, including scatter tubes (£10) solid wood urn (£25) or beautiful paulownia caskets (£75).
Of course, there are many companies selling urns and containers, you may supply your own if you find one you really like.
